The FCPC V5 is the ultimate plate carrier in lightweight. The main body is made from 500D CORDURA composite material, all MOLLE webbing is eliminated and a large number of laser cut out slots are used instead, stealing the lightness while leaving the product compatible with the traditional MOLLE system. The clean vest surface and compact appearance visually reflects Ferro's philosophy of minimalist design. The V5 side panels have been changed from the FCSK stretch straps to a more supportive TEGRIS material with webbing stitched into it, while the round holes laser cut into the TEGRIS side panels for weight reduction have become a signature element of the FCPC V5. The bold choice of new composite materials also adds a 'technological' dimension to the FERRO product design philosophy of 'compactness, lightness, stability and comfort'.
